In a world of cheap mass produced throw away tools it was amazing to open that box and find a quality crafted tool that has the potential to be passed on for generations. Beautifully stained hardwood,I don't know whether to use it or hang it on a wall.

I have never seen a perfectly square inside to inside stairwell, and this guide will let you cut perfect treads every time.Well made, and 5 stars rating. If you do trim work for a living, you can't afford not to have one of these. It will pay for itself on the first job in saved time.

The end result looks very professionally done, thanks in no small part to the PL200 Stair Wizard. And it requires such a small storage space that I decided to keep it rather than put it on the market after my job was completed. I used the tool for the first and only set of oak stairs that I ever installed. The device worked as represented for measuring both treads and risers.

I ordered it from amazon.com and it arrived in no time. After much frustration, a friend recommended the stair wizzard. Nothing seemed to match up. I was having a difficult time cutting new solid ashe treads and riser on a stair case remodel. I was making 10 or more cuts per tread. This product allowed me to mark and cut every tread to perfection the first time I used it.
